KS2 Spanish
¡Hola!
Years 3-6 have a weekly Spanish lesson with their teacher. During these lessons they learn about
- greetings
- colours
- numbers
- to ask 'how are you?'
- days of the week
- months of the year
- and to ask 'how old are you?'
They build up and use a lot of new Spanish vocabulary, through a mixture of games, songs, DVD clips, role play and written work.

Why learn another language?
Learning in more than one language, develops your brain and improves your intellect, making you a more effective and creative learner. It also helps you understand another culture and the world around you! As well as a second language making you a smarter thinker, it will increase your employment chances when you are older.
